If you do not diet and exercise but religiously keep a journal logging in everything that goes into your mouth, everything including that little cup of coffee or the chewing gums, you will definitely lose weight. I’ll attribute journaling to be an integral part of my permanent weight loss. When I was journaling I used to lock up my journal so nobody reads what I wrote, it was all about my struggles, but it was very private for me. I found out that the journal was not accessible to me as often as I wanted to use it or read it. When I took my journal out of lock and key, I found out that I misplace it most of the time.
