The best menu option for someone who does not like to count calories is low carbs meal plan starting with the induction phase.

Everyone should start with  an induction phase of whatever lifestyle except if you are a vegan. You eat as much protein and green leafy vegetables as you can, without counting calories. Induction phase is for a fresh start. This will detox your system from carbs so you can have better control over the desire to eat carbs.

Vegetarians can do induction phase eating fish and seafood for 2 – 3 days for a fresh start. check out the menus.

Familiarize yourself with portion sizes, especially carbohydrates. An easy rule of thumb is that a serving of most carbs is the size of your fist
