People especially women always neglect the importance of weight and resistance training in weight loss and general fitness.
Let's put this in a simple way muscle requires energy
So the more muscle on you have the more energy you need to sustain your muscles
Meaning your going to burn more calories in all your daily activities...at work sitting on the couch and even sleeping...get it? Good. So throw in a extra 20 minutes of weights, pilates dwarf tossing whatever you like to do before you do your cardio.

Women don't like weights because of fear of bulking up, we want to look lean and mean. How do we prevent bulking up while doing weights?
